1.Take a Shower (Ghusl)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Ghusl on Friday is obligatory upon every adult.”
(Sahih Bukhari)
Taking a bath purifies the body and prepares you spiritually for Jumu’ah.
Hindi Meaning:
जुम्मा के दिन ग़ुस्ल करना हर बालिग़ मुस्लिम पर ज़रूरी है।
Urdu Meaning:
جمعہ کے دن غسل کرنا ہر بالغ مسلمان پر ضروری ہے۔
Bengali Meaning:
জুমার দিনে গোসল করা প্রত্যেক প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক মুসলিমের জন্য জরুরি।
2.Wear Your Nice Clothes
It is Sunnah to wear your best clothes on Friday. This shows respect for the blessed day.
3.Use Perfume (Guys Only)
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) loved good smells. So, guys, put on some cologne before going to the mosque.
4.Use Miswak (Tooth Stick)
Clean your teeth with a Miswak before heading to the mosque. It’s a recommended practice.
5.Trim Your Nails
Friday’s a good reminder to trim your nails and stay clean.
6.Go to the Mosque Early
The sooner you get there, the better.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said getting there early is like sacrificing a camel (Sahih Bukhari).
7.Read Surah Al-Kahf
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said reading this chapter on Friday brings a light that lasts until the next Friday.

8.Send Blessings to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
Say prayers for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) more often on Fridays.
Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Hindi:
हे अल्लाह! नबी मुहम्मद पर रहमत भेज।
Bengali:
হে আল্লাহ! নবী মুহাম্মদ (সা.)-এর উপর দরুদ পাঠান।
9.Pray When Prayers are Accepted
There’s a special time on Friday when prayers are more likely to be heard like:
- From the afternoon prayer (Asr) until sunset (Maghrib)
- Or during the sermon (Khutbah)
Pray for yourself, your family, and everyone.
10.Listen to the Sermon (Khutbah)
Don’t talk while the sermon is happening. It reduces your reward.
